SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimize our procurement, production scheduling, materials planning, inventory control, and warehousing operations. This role is crucial in ensuring production efficiency, meeting customer commitments, and driving process improvements in a highly regulated aerospace environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategical source, contract negotiation, and supplier management to ensure cost-effective purchasing, timely delivery, and strategic procurement planning.
- Develop and maintain production schedules, coordinate material staging, and align manufacturing operations with demand forecasts to optimize efficiency.
- Analyze supply chain data, leveraging ERP/MRP systems (such as Epicor), monitoring inventory levels, conducting cycle counts, and implementing data-driven decision-making for process improvements.
- Manage shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations while ensuring adherence to ITAR/export control regulations and maintaining accurate transaction records within an ERP system.
- Lead a team, providing training, coaching, and performance management to drive operational excellence.
- Oversee raw material planning, procurement coordination, and job staging to support production schedules.
- Manage inventory accuracy and warehouse operations, ensuring materials are available when needed.
- Establish and refine lean supply chain practices to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with suppliers, purchasing teams, and internal stakeholders to address shipment issues, resolve claims, and enhance supplier performance.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications (NADCAP, AS9100, ITAR, etc.), ensuring all transactions and records are accurately documented.
- Utilize Epicor ERP and other tools to monitor inventory, analyze trends, and drive data-driven decisions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes, supply chain visibility, and operational efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: 2-5 years in supply chain analytics, procurement, production planning/scheduling, and/or inventory control, ideally in aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP Software, Microsoft Excel, and inventory management systems.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, and lean manufacturing principles.
- Problem-Solver: Ability to analyze complex supply chain challenges, implement solutions, and optimize processes.
- Leadership: Experience managing teams, setting goals, and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Communication: Strong ability to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and leadership to ensure smooth operations.
