Vice President of Commercial Operations

A leading cosmetics company is currently seeking a Vice President of Commercial Operations to join their team. As the VP of Commercial Operations, you will be responsible for optimizing and enhancing logistics processes to support company growth. You will oversee both inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation of products. Additionally, you will manage logistics teams, collaborate with external partners, and negotiate logistics contracts. This position will report directly to the COO.

Responsibilities for the VP of Commercial Operations:

• Overseeing the sourcing and movement of products on a domestic and international scale.
• Coordinating logistics to meet capacity, service, and cost objectives for both inbound and outbound operations.
• Implementing and enforcing centralized logistics strategies to control the flow of goods, services, and information from suppliers to customers.
• Developing logistics capacity strategies and creating contingency plans to support varying levels of company sales and changes in supply and demand patterns.
• Collaborating on market and portfolio strategy with fact-based strategic business insights.
• Managing customer success and establishing effective partnerships.
• Utilizing data-driven analysis to structure problems and define clear program execution.
• Executing cross-functional initiatives to align with the strategic plan.

Requirements for the VP of Commercial Operations:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.
• 15 years of industry experience, with 7 years in upper management.
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision-making.
• Proven ability to manage and develop high-performing teams.
