A hyper-growth 10yr old Ecommerce Retail business looking to pass the $1B revenue mark this year, is now seeking to hire a New VP Fulfilment. This role will report to the C-Suite and primarily oversee 4 key areas: 1) Distribution & Warehousing of 10 sites across NA, 2) Final Mile Transportation & Delivery to Customers, 3) Process Engineering & Network Optimization, 4) Facility Safety & Maintenance. The successful candidate will oversee a team of approx. 5-7 senior direct reports, be given an attractive budget to Execute initiatives, and hold a position that both allows them to 'roll their sleeves up' and 'get stuck in' operationally - but also - build and delivery strategic programs that will impact the direction of travel of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Warehousing, Distribution, Transportation, Fulfilment, Inventory Management, Process Engineering & Network Design
- Manage a Large national network of Drivers (both in-house & 3rd party contractors)
- Lead Supply Chain Transformation through facility redesign, process redesign, and network optimization
- Build comprehensive strategy to maximize profitability for each site
- Hire, develop and retain a world-class and high-performing team.
- Implement succession planning initiatives to create long-term value for Supply Chain
- Deliver ongoing analysis, assessment and implementation of IT systems within the supply chain to provide better data analytics
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Bachelor's degree (ideally in an analytical subject)
- Extensive Multi-Site Distribution & Transportation experience
- Food industry experience
- Significant Accomplishments in Cost Savings
- Proven experience in Team Turnaround & Leadership
