Warehouse Supervisor - Elko, NV
A leading global supplier of equipment, tools, services, and technical solutions for the mining industry is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for its Elko, NV location. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse operations, overseeing daily activities, and maintaining a strong focus on safety, compliance, and performance metrics.
Manage all warehouse operations, ensuring smooth daily workflows and operational efficiency.
Supervise warehouse staff, providing leadership, guidance, and on-the-job training.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies and chain of responsibility regulations.
Conduct daily inspections on operational equipment to maintain safety and compliance.
Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to warehouse efficiency, costs, and productivity.
Accurately process shipping and export documentation for all outgoing orders.
Identify and report stock discrepancies, safety concerns, or operational issues.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse processes and efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Previous experience in warehouse supervision with a strong understanding of logistics and inventory management.
Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
Strong customer relations abilities and the capability to motivate and develop team members.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP, warehouse, transport, and EHS management systems is a plus.
Education in Warehouse Management or Supply Chain is an advantage.
Forklift and Order Picking Forklift licenses are required.
Salary : $70,000 - $82,000
