Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams to assess risks associated with fire alarm systems and fire sprinkler fittings.
- Provide training and guidance on fire alarm sales, system design, and installation practices to staff.
- Lead investigations into accidents or incidents, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards related to fire safety and emergency response protocols.
- Work closely with external agencies for safety inspections and certifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a safety management role, preferably within the construction or fire protection industry.
- Strong knowledge of fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler fitting, construction inspection processes, and system design principles.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train staff on safety practices effectively.
- Relevant certifications in safety management or related fields are preferred.
