DSL Express is seeking a dependable and hardworking Loader to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading goods from trucks and trailers. Key Responsibilities:
Safely load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and other transport vehicles.
Handle freight with care to prevent damage during the loading, transit, or unloading process.
Follow all safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe workplace.
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment as necessary (training provided if needed).
Collaborate with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including loading docks.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a warehouse, loading, or logistics role is preferred but not required.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
High attention to detail and the ability to accurately follow instructions.
Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Forklift certification is a plus, but not mandatory.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime.
