DSL Express is seeking a reliable and committed Loader to become part of our logistics team. As a Loader, you will play a key role in ensuring goods are safely and efficiently loaded and unloaded, contributing to smooth and timely transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Loading and Unloading: Handle goods with care during the loading and unloading of trucks and trailers.
Shipment Management: Protect freight from damage by treating it with attention and care.
Safety Compliance: Follow all company safety guidelines to maintain a safe and secure work environment.
Equipment Operation: Use tools such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
Teamwork: Work closely with drivers and warehouse staff to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.
Dock Maintenance: Keep the loading area clean, organized, and free from hazards.
Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Willingness to work flexible schedules, including occasional weekends or overtime.
