Mortgage Trainer (Full Time) - Remote
- Hours and days of work are Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
OVERVIEW
- The Mortgage Trainer is a position that will develop and lead internal training to existing and future DSLD Mortgage employees on topics and procedures related to all aspects of the mortgage originations process. This position will work closely with the executive team to help the onboarding of new employees and train them on all DSLD policies, procedures, and standards. This position will work with existing employees to reinforce company culture through training on policies, procedures and standards to ensure all employees have a full understanding of the DSLD processes. The Mortgage Trainer will work with senior management to create and execute annual reviews.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, deliver, and continually evaluate mortgage training programs.
- Create and distribute onboarding resources for all new employees with assistance from management.
- Collaborate and coordinate activities with subject matter experts to deliver training modules.
- Utilize a variety of training methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools, and practices to ensure maximum effectiveness of training programs.
- Work with executive management to create employee review process
- Performs other duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, and FHA/VA/USDA
- Proficient knowledge of lending guidelines and regulations
- Working knowledge of Origination Software Systems
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to break down complex processes to create easy to follow training
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally
- Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunication
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite, i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Must have strong written and interpersonal skills
