The Supervisor, Fulfillment Center plays a key role in directing and coordinating the workforce to ensure the efficient picking, packing, and shipping of orders through the Fulfillment Center. This position requires hands-on involvement in shipping and receiving activities, which include physical work in the Fulfillment Center to support daily operations. The Supervisor must maintain a high level of awareness regarding safety regulations and procedures, actively ensuring personal safety and the safety of team members in the work environment.
The role demands the ability to learn and adapt to new processes and navigate systems effectively to oversee and optimize workflows. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring team performance, addressing operational challenges, and ensuring compliance with corporate, customer, and regulatory standards. This position bridges the operational focus of the workforce with the strategic oversight of management, supporting continuous improvement efforts while meeting daily productivity and quality goals.
Shift: You will primarily 1st shift, however, you will be required to work split shifts and 2nd shift to ensure that the building is always covered.
Hours: Primarily 6:00am - 2:30pm or 8:00am - 4:30pm. You will occasionally cover 2nd shift and support when needed - 12:00pm - 8:30pm or 3:00pm-11:30pm. Overtime as needed
Days: Monday - Friday and Saturdays as required to keep up with operational demand

Responsibilities
- Process UPS and LTL Shipments: Select product from pick tickets, palletize/pack products in boxes, and process necessary shipping documents to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
- Take Receipt of Incoming Product: Count and match product counts, receive products in WMS, and ensure proper placement in inventory locations.
- Assist with Loading and Unloading Trucks: Use riding pallet jacks or other loaders to load and unload trucks, verifying that the correct products are received and documented accurately.
- Responsible for Product Sample Shipments: Oversee the shipment of product sample requests from associates, vendors, and customers, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Aid Inventory Control: Conduct cycle counts as needed to maintain inventory accuracy and support effective inventory management practices.
- Participate in Warehouse Maintenance: Engage in routine maintenance tasks to uphold warehouse cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency.
- Direct Workforce: Provide daily direction to the workforce to ensure smooth operations. Address issues and potential problems promptly, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- You ensure compliance with dsm-firmenich policies, procedures, and work instructions as well as SHE and external requirements.

- High School Diploma or equivalent GED Required.
- 2 or more years of related experience required, with experience in fulfillment
- Ability to lift up to 55lbs required
- Experience with ERP systems, WMS, and other relevant software applications
- Computer literacy, with experience in SAP preferred.
- Ability to safely operate power equipment (forklift, riding pallet jacj, etc...)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
- Fluent in English
