Warehouse Supervisor, 1st shift
Location: Tonganoxie, KS
Onsite Monday – Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm (May move to 4-10 hour days in the future, 6am-4:30pm, Monday-Thursday, To Be Determined)
As a Warehouse Supervisor at our Brand New (Premix) Animal Nutrition and Health location in Tonganoxie, KS, you will lead the warehouse team, overseeing daily operations and ensuring efficient inventory management and logistics coordination. This role is responsible for scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, supervising warehouse staff, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain high operational standards.

Responsibilities
- Oversee all warehouse activities, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supervise the pick, pack, and order fulfillment processes to maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate with Customer Care to align with customer requirements, address order issues, and provide timely updates.
- Manage communication with freight companies to arrange transportation, monitor shipments, and resolve logistics challenges.
- Lead and develop the warehouse team, including Warehouse Operators by providing clear direction, coaching, and performance management.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Ensure accurate documentation and tracking of all shipments, maintaining comprehensive records

You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
- Minium of 3 years’ experience in warehouse operations or logistics coordination.
- Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
- In depth knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management best practices.
- Ability to operate computers. Proficient in the use of SAP, MSOffice, Word, and Excel. Ability to use a Touch Screen.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Strong math, oral/written communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, communication and problem solving skills.
- Familiarity with logistics coordination and scheduling processes.
- Experience with inventory management and order processing systems is advantageous.
