Union, MO - Romer Labs
Onsite, M-F 8am-4:30pm
As a Lab Technician you will sample preparation of environmental, food, feed, and grain-based samples for further analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Perform sample preparation, including grinding, precise weighing on analytical balances, and extraction using solvents or buffer solutions.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency to meet customer requirements and timelines for sample processing.
- Support laboratory operations by monitoring stock levels, managing inventory, and ensuring proper sample disposal.
- Assist with general lab maintenance, including cleaning and organization, to uphold a safe and efficient work environment.

You bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately document all activities.
- Prior laboratory experience preferred, especially in sample preparation and analytical support.
- Collaborative mindset to work efficiently with multiple teams on diverse analytical tasks.
- Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods in a laboratory setting.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds as needed.
