What You’ll Do
- Configure, implement, and migrate network technologies (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN controllers) for multiple customers.
- Serve as an escalation point for critical network/security issues and provide exceptional service to clients.
- Manage network and firewall migrations (Cisco, Palo Alto) and support cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Troubleshoot complex network and security challenges with precision and expertise.
- Apply compliance and security standards (SOX, SOC2, PCI) and create reliable controls for customers.
- Perform network assessments and deliver actionable recommendations to enhance security and performance.
- Document network configurations and collaborate with clients to tailor security policies to their needs.
What You’ll Bring
- Expertise in enterprise-grade routing and switching protocols, including EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, and SD-WAN.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus (7K, 5K, 2K), Cisco Firepower Threat Defense, Cisco ISE, and Palo Alto Firewalls (REQUIRED).
- Strong knowledge of security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention strategies.
- Ability to handle complex projects with a positive, collaborative attitude.
- Excellent troubleshooting, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours support as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or 7 years of experience as a Network/Security Engineer.
- Preferred certifications: Cisco CCNP, Cisco CCDP, Palo Alto PCNSA/PCNSE (not required but a plus).
