Monday thru Friday 8 AM to 5 PM; Part-time position available.
Starting Wage $14/hour. Wage increase contingent on experience.
Provides clerical and administrative support in the CDDO. Manage statistical information and maintain persons served databases. Experience in office work, software programs, speaking to the public, and organizing data preferred.
Essential Functions
Perform clerical duties such as copying, filing, assembling and mailing application packets, etc.
Assist with incoming/outgoing communications via telephone, personal visits, email, taking messages and assuring positive public relations.
Maintain consumer databases and perform data entry.
Disseminate documentation to appropriate CDDO, affiliate, MCO, and KDADS staff.
Work with CDDO staff in tracking information and organizing schedules.
Generates CDDO reports as requested.
Complete other duties as assigned by the CDDO Administrator.
HIPAA Compliance
This position is responsible for maintaining confidentiality for all PHI and ePHI that is shared with this person. This position will have full access to PHI and EPHI of individuals necessary to determine eligibility for services or to bill or fund services for an individual; complete the BASIS screening for the DSNWK CDDO; and as required for the purpose of survey compilation and QA reviews.
Other Responsibilities
This position is not subject to the two year training period as defined by KPERS.
Job Specifications
Education - Associates Degree preferred in related field. Two years experience in lieu of Associates Degree in secretarial or business field.
Experience - Two years clerical experience. Experience with designing Microsoft Access databases strongly preferred.
Extent of physical effort required - Routine job requirements. Little if any behavior or other physical intervention.
Other Requirements
Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to exercise good judgement and discretion in handling confidential information.
Able to manage multiple projects.
Ability to take initiative to respond to tasks needing to be completed, follow directions and needs little follow-up from supervisor.
Valid driver's license.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.40 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
