Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Flexible Shifts: Full-time and part-time, with day, evening, and overnight shifts available!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on assistance and guidance to help individuals develop life skills and independence.
- Support clients in community outings and recreational activities.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for those in your care.
- Assist with personal care, advocate for their needs, and encourage self-directed living.
- Build positive relationships with families and external service providers.
- Manage transportation needs and help clients get where they need to go.
- Handle crisis interventions and health-related tasks as necessary.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of experience preferred (but not required)
- Valid NYS driver’s license with a clean record
- Flexibility to work varying hours and locations
- Must pass background checks, drug test, and fingerprinting
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Moderate exposure to various working conditions
