The Carpenter/Laborer will collaborate with other tradespeople and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements.
- Perform roof installations and repairs, ensuring structural integrity and weather resistance.
- Execute construction estimating for materials and labor needed for projects.
- Hang doors accurately, ensuring proper alignment and functionality.
- Install cabinets with precision, adhering to design specifications.
- Conduct mold remediation as needed, following safety protocols.
- Assist with masonry work, including bricklaying and concrete finishing.
- Carry out various installation tasks, including fixtures, trim work, and flooring.
- Apply plaster for wall finishing, ensuring smooth surfaces and quality finishes.
Experience
- Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields is essential.
- Familiarity with reading schematics and blueprints is required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project needs.
