POSITION: Science Teacher
GRADE LEVEL: Hiring for middle school positions.
LOCATION: Elevate Middle School.

SALARY: $58,000-$76,000 based on aligned years of experience up to 10 years. We also offer a
relocation stipend
for anyone joining us from 75 miles or more from Denver!
STATUS: Full time school year, benefits eligible, exempt, in-person position

KEY ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Science Teachers believe not just in teaching an ability to hypothesize, but also seek to build and nourish a deep love of applying this understanding to life to transform their community and the world.
- Plan and deliver culturally responsive instruction to 3-5 classes a day of various lengths depending on the DSST campus and grade level
- Use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices
- Additional duties as assigned such as supporting student recruitment, running a small group advisory class, after school tutoring, etc. See many of our possible dutieshere.
High School Curriculum:
- 9th Grade: Physics
- 10th Grade: Chemistry
- 11th Grade: Biology
- 12th Grade: Science Elective
Middle School Curriculum:
- 6-8th Grade: Integrated NGSS Science Curriculum

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
