Summary
The Captain will perform duties as Pilot-In Command and is responsible for safe and legal aircraft operation in accordance with FAA regulations and the DST Flight Operations Manual (FOM). Duties include, but are not limited to, flight planning, ATC coordination of special activities, and post flight tasks. The Captain will communicate with customers to ensure a clear understanding of both flight and schedule objectives, with safety being the first priority. The Captain will utilize effective Crew Resource Management techniques and procedures when operating in both single and two-pilot environments to include briefing all flight participants on safety and egress procedures prior to flight. The Captain will report any mechanical issues or concerns to an appropriate Maintenance Department member and the Chief Pilot. The Captain completes all necessary aircraft administration documents for aircraft time tracking and manifest.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position including some unusual hours. The length of a work day varies depending on the customer requirements. Days and hours of work are primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Evening and weekend work will be required as job duties and customers demand. Expected to arrive at HGR within one hour.
Travel
Travel will be required as requested by customers. Traveling includes overnight stays outside of the normal working location.
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Commercial AMEL, Aircraft Single-Engine Land with Commercial privileges, as well as Instrument Airplane rating.
- Minimum TT of 1,000 hours for C208.
- Minimum TT of 1,500 hours for B350.
- IFR Rating.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum TT of 1,500 hours for C208.
- Minimum TT of 3,000 hours for B350.

- Current Passport with unrestricted international travel privileges.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass a background investigation.
- Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
- Current FAA First or Second Class Medical.
