Summary
The Mission Systems Operator (MSO) is responsible for the operation of advanced Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) camera systems, such as Wescam MX series and FLIR Systems, various mapping systems to support Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions. Additionally, the MSO will operate and support mission critical communications devices, datalinks, video and data networks and be called upon to assist in troubleshooting these systems.
This role plays a critical part in Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) Collection, ensuring accurate, actionable intelligence is gathered and processed. The MSO will work closely with mission teams in a dynamic environment, requiring technical proficiency, situational awareness, and strong decision-making skills.
Essential Functions
1. Technical Expertise
a. In-depth knowledge of EO/IR systems, mapping software, and IMINT processes.
b. Proficient in operating and troubleshooting advanced camera and sensor systems.

a. Ability to identify critical information in imagery and geospatial data.
b. Strong accuracy and precision in data interpretation and reporting.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. frequent evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel to other customer sites within the continental United States will be required, Estimated amount of travel 50 -75%.
Required Education and Experience
- One to two (1 -2) years' of experience as an MSO on aircraft.
- Troubleshooting level knowledge of PCs, network hardware, operating systems and software.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate of Science degree in an engineering discipline.
- Three to five (3 - 5) years' experience as an MSO on Aircraft.
- Experience with setup and operation of air to ground communications equipment.
- Experience with ISR mission requirements.
Other Hiring Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Must hold or be able to obtain a DOD Top Secret level clearance (at minimum).
- Must be able to obtain a passport.
- Must pass a DOT/FAA regulated drug screening.
