As a Cloud Platform Architect for our private cloud implementation, you will work with a team of experienced engineers to enhance the current offering and assist in the design, development, and deployment of a customer-facing solution. This role requires a deep understanding of cloud architecture, orchestration, and the integration of front-end and back-end technologies. Responsibilities Architectural Leadership: Guide the architectural design and implementation of a cloud platform, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. Technical Strategy: Work with others to develop and maintain the technical strategy and roadmap for the cloud, aligning with business goals and user needs. Integration: Oversee the integration of the internal UI/orchestration layer, utilizing Angular for the front-end and Spring Java for the back-end. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of the private cloud. Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of the private cloud platform. Security: Implement robust security measures to protect data and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation, including design specifications, diagrams, and operational procedures. Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in cloud architecture, with a focus on private cloud solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes). Strong experience with Angular and Spring Java. Knowledge of networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., CI/CD, automation). Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities. Leadership and project management experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with hybrid cloud environments. Certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Architect).
