submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current
manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit experience required.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years’ experience current required in
a 12-plus bed Pediatric Intensive Care unit required. Pediatric CVICU
experience a plus! Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast paced
environment. Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel
assignment.
Certs : BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
BLS and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, American
Health and Safety, or American Red Cross. EPIC EMR experience preferred.
Shift : This is a 12-hour shift position; shift
start time 0700 / 19 : 00. Weekends – 4-5 weekend shifts in a 4-week scheduling
period. Holidays – per PHS Clinical Staffing and scheduling policy. Call
12hrs, per work week rotation (or 9.5 if placed on Standby for Call Shift). Floating – all travelers are required to float to all areas in which
they are trained (e.g., MBC, NICU, Peds, Peds Hem / Onc) including ED and
alternate holding areas, including PresNow ED / UCs and all Presbyterian
facilities within the Central Delivery System (Albuquerque metro area) to care
for appropriate patients. Traveling
pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or same shifts. Ratios- 1 : 1-1 : 3 for
holding Peds or SAC status patients.
Orientation : First week of the contract, not to
exceed 40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.
Scrubs : required and not provided by the facility.
Child friendly scrub top with coordinating scrub pants.
