Job Summary
Applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices in diverse areas of assignment. Makes decisions on engineering problems and methods. Represents the department to resolve important questions. Requires the use of techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of own field and related sciences or disciplines, including practical field experience. Consults supervisor or principal engineer concerning unusual problems and / or developments.
Key Accountabilities
An Engineer I will perform most of these duties at an entry level
- Applies knowledge and background of engineering principles to the midstream industry.
- Develops, coordinates, and directs critical projects or field engineering assignments.
Provide analysis, design, specification and cost estimates for jurisdictional and non-jurisdictional natural gas gathering and transmission systems.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 0 - 1 year of job-related experience is required. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and meet company-driving standards.

Working Conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works both in a business office setting and at a project site. In the course of working at the project site, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including cold / hot, wet and / or humid conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts and / or machinery. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and vibration (see physical demands above). The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate in the office but may become loud at the project site.
