Manager of Curriculum Development
Summary/Objective
The Manager Curriculum Development ensures each class has the proper curriculum and training material to ensure dominate safety training needs are met by each client. This role also includes the classroom and field instruction of select classes and performs industrial hygiene services including hearing tests and respirator fit tests.
Essential Functions

· Provides safety and compliance-related training
· Documents training completion for students upon successful completion of each course
· Updates Safety Training information for each student upon successful course completion
· Tracks and updates non-NCCER coursework internally
· Evaluates instructor performance and provides suggestions for course improvement
· Completes all manner of respirator fit-tests and hearing tests
· Cleans and replenishes supplies in common areas including classrooms and break areas
· Coordination and organization of training material and equipment
· Occasional field work may be required
· Perform additional duties as requested by Management.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. However, overtime may occasionally be required.
Travel
This position requires minimal travel, up to 10%.
Required Education and Experience
· HS Diploma
· Moderate level of computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, QuickBooks, Adobe Acrobat/PDFs – ability to edit and create, scanning)
· Ability to learn new skills within a time limit set by management
· Familiarity with safety training requirements set by local, state and federal regulations
· Ability to provide respirator fit tests
· Two years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
· Ability to learn and understand safety training requirements set by local, state, and federal regulations
· Ability to perform respirator fit tests
Preferred Education and Experience
· Five years’ experience in the oil and gas industry
· Two years’ experience as a safety trainer, safety manager or other safety-related role
