POSITION OVERVIEW
The position may be work in shipping, receiving, insulation, or sealing, and will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Duties
- Insulates and assembles products for delivery.
- Uses sealant to seal product properly.
- Reads work orders or follows oral instructions to ensure materials or containers are moved.
- Opens containers.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
- Loads materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
- Rotate material.
- Transports materials from storage or work sites to shipping areas.
- Counts, weighs and records the number of units of materials moved or handled on the daily production sheet.
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
- Loads/unloads truck for Industrial Truck Operator.
- Assists in various departments as needed.
- Other duties may be assigned. (Flexibility where needed)
- Ability to learn multiple areas and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
