The impact you will have in this role:
As a Due Diligence EDGE Analyst within the Enterprise Client Operations Client Due Diligence (CDD) team, you will assist in assessing the data infrastructure and implementing changes as needed along with being the central point of contact between DTCC’s subject matter experts (SMEs) and our clients. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from various internal departments such as our product teams, compliance, technology risk, senior management, and more to answer client questions and coordinate related tasks. Sharing this knowledge and your journey with the rest of the CDD team will be pivotal to take the team to the next level.
“Due Diligence”, or the process of assessing a company’s risks and understanding its operations, is vital to our clients’ internal processes. The CDD Team maintains a database of pertinent risk topics relevant to clients and communicating this information via consistent reporting to senior leadership and key stakeholder teams at DTCC. Our Due Diligence Specialists have a passion for client service, are self-starters, collaborative, have a proven track record of delivering high quality output across a variety of complex processes, possess an interest in building partnerships, and can effectively give to the strategic direction of the larger organization.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Rotate through the CDD team to gain complete understanding of the due diligence support process, end-to-end. This includes:
- Support the completion of client inquiries and requests for information by serving as the primary point of contact for clients; in-scope requests include technology risk assessments, security standards review, etc.)
- Review incoming client due diligence requests and assess subject matter requirements to accurately coordinate internal customer discussions for information gathering.
- Work closely with internal DTCC business units and control groups (e.g., Relationship Management, Sales, Compliance, Privacy, Technology Risk, Financial Risk, Cyber Security, etc.) to complete client requests and assessments.
- Demonstrate project management skills while adhering to internal control standards and Service Level Agreements
- Maintain centralized repository of standard responses, including periodic review and refresh of information from content owners.
- Raise outstanding client inquires to internal customers and relevant team members.
- Handle direct incoming client emails, web inquiries, etc. to answer client questions and/or troubleshoot complex situations.
- Review, organize and audit internal stakeholder responses to due diligence questions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to learn about their business and business processes. Bring education and key findings back to the team to increase the overall business knowledge within CDD.
- Be able to work independently and build a network across cross-functional teams.
- As applicable, identify process improvement opportunities to continually enhance the existing inquiry intake, response coordination, and case resolution processes. Assist in the change management process to implement any agreed upon improvements.
- Assess and build out reporting capabilities for key metrics, organizational and within CDD.
- Compile reports using key metrics from multiple sources for use by internal customers, senior leadership, and auditors/regulators and communicate this information to relevant parties as applicable.

Qualifications:
- Candidates must be working towards a bachelor’s degree in the following curriculums and graduating no later than May 2025: [Business, Economics, Finance]
- Candidates must have authorization to work permanently in the US without the need for sponsorship (now or in the future)
- Candidates must have minimum of a 3.2 GPA upon graduation
Talents Needed for Success:
- Must demonstrate superior analytical and communication skills
- Strong interest in the financial services industry, with previous internship experience a plus
- Technology Skills
- Proficient with client management software like Salesforce or other CRMs
- Basic experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI or Tableau (a plus)
- Proficient with Microsoft – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Regulatory knowledge (a plus) – AML, KYC, general compliance regulations
The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
