The Impact you will have in this role:
Being a member of the Principal and Income Announcements team, the Corporate Actions Analyst will perform all routine and complex functions associated with the announcement and processing of corporate action events and handle exception processing as appropriate within guidelines defined by the management team. P&I Announcements is responsible for sourcing and announcing to DTC clients’ distribution and redemption events on DTC-eligible securities. These events include dividends, interest, periodic principal, and redemption payments, such as calls and maturities. In addition, the Corporate Actions Analyst will interact with clients and partners to assess and resolve problems, display attention to detail, and possess the ability to multi-task while providing excellent internal and external client service.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Executes on operational processes by following documented procedures and job aides while working at understanding and mastering knowledge of process.
- Takes ownership of workload, ensures deliverables met in line with procedures, metrics, and benchmarks; while adhering to critical timeframes; ability to manage competing priorities.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day-to-day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk, escalates appropriately.
- Maintains a steadfast focus on meeting the needs/requests of our internal and external clients, including responding to inquiries timely and accurately, resolving issues promptly.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate issue resolution, process improvements, and risk reduction.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills, active engagement in meetings and displays a curiosity to learn and grow; accepts feedback given and applies to role.
- Aligns risk and control processes into day to day responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk; escalates appropriately

Qualifications:
- Entry Level – internship experience highly preferred
- Bachelor's degree preferred
