The Impact you will have in this role:
As a Cyber Security Design Oversight member, you will manage the portfolios of internally built risk and process automation cloud-based applications. This role involves working with cross-functional teams across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, and deliver applications used across Technology Risk. It is a hands-on role that requires experience with Python, serverless architectures, and AWS and Azure. Additional responsibilities include developing POCs/POTs across cutting-edge technologies, leading backlog grooming sessions, and working with internal customers to identify and refine requirements.

The Impact you will have in this role:
As a Cyber Security Design Oversight member, you will manage the portfolios of internally built risk and process automation cloud-based applications. This role involves working with cross-functional teams across the organization to gather requirements, design, develop, and deliver applications used across Technology Risk. It is a hands-on role that requires experience with Python, serverless architectures, and AWS and Azure. Additional responsibilities include developing POCs/POTs across cutting-edge technologies, leading backlog grooming sessions, and working with internal customers to identify and refine requirements.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Join stakeholder and end-user requirement sessions to gather feedback and new requirements for enhancing the suite of applications.
- Designs and implements API and service-based connections and integrations across various technology types.
- Conducts code reviews on Python-based cloud applications.
- Conceptualizes and designs cyber and risk cloud-based applications using AWS services and Python.
- Experience integrating with PostgreSQL
- Writes efficient, reusable, and testable Python code.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers, to design and implement software features.
- Debugs and resolves software defects.
- Work alongside cyber innovation teams to test and create proof of concepts across DLT/Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Cyber Security backed technologies.
- Optimizes application performance and ensures scalability.
- Liaises across multiple teams responsible for Quality Assurance Testing and Change Management to ensure thorough and timely releases.
- Ensures technical quality of security-focused results and adherence to security standards, governance, and control practices with project teams.
- Defines, publishes, and maintains software and processes for security governance (i.e., compliance with principles, guidelines, and standards).
- Implements role-based access controls within applications maximising MS AD
- Implements and is familiar with MS Service Accounts for connecting applications to other systems
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
