Our Risk Management teams work to protect the safety and soundness of our systems and are responsible for identifying, managing, measuring and mitigating a spectrum of key risk types including credit, market, liquidity, systemic, operational and technology in all existing and new products, activities, processes and systems.

The Impact you will have in this role:
Quantitative Risk Management, QRM is responsible for the development and support of models and methodologies for the quantification of risk. QRM also carries out quantitative analysis and other analytical support for DTCC's risk management and other business needs.
Your Primary Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of risk management tools by enhancing existing analytical models and focusing on designing and implementing new models
- Build and maintain model prototypes and library for on-going model research and model development.
- Facilitate model specification and model engine test with Risk Technology team.
- Maintain key data source for groups model development and quantitative analyses.
- Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and standard methodologies in quantitative financial modeling and risk management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- 3 years of quantitative development experience in financial institutions.
- Master's Degree or higher in a quantitative field of study
Talents Needed for Success:
- Knowledge of financial products such as equities, fixed income or derivatives and market risk domain.
- Proficient in at least one high level programming language (Python, C , Java, etc.). Familiarity with SQL is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
