As the Academy Health & Wellness Coordinator, you will:
· Confirm weekly menus with the school director
· Prepare and serve meals according to approved menus
· Maintain inventory and complete food & supply orders when needed
· Adhere to the school’s budgetary needs as well as state & federal requirements
· Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen at all times
· Help in classrooms and other areas as needed (typically for short periods of time)
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience preparing and serving meals. A passion for the culinary arts and a desire to make a difference in the lives of children and families are essential. Creativity, initiative, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic are desirable.
