Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Tech II to join our team at DTE Energy. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for performing maintenance functions necessary to maintain all operating and service equipment.
The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of heavy industrial experience and be proficient in precision cutting with burning torch, arc welding (SMAW) in 2F &3F positions, intermediate pipe threading and fitting skills, intermediate rigging knowledge and experience, and advance print reading abilities.
In addition to your technical skills, you must have strong safety experience and the ability to work in a team-oriented atmosphere. You should also be able to develop and maintain productive relationships with supervisor, coworkers, and management.
