Job Summary

Location: Detroit, MI

This role is designed to provide undergraduate college students with unique opportunities to develop their individual talents and to experience a large corporate environment within DTE Vantage.

Key Accountabilities

Students in this role will:

• Gain a deep understanding of DTE’s operations, business model and key initiatives.
• Produce clear, useful, and value-added work product to support business unit with various assignments and projects.
• Gain real hands-on professional work experience
• Acquire a new network of professional contacts
• Gain a new/enhanced set of soft business skills
• Have a successful summer experience and desire to come back and work for DTE
• Perform all other related duties as assigned
  
  

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

Must be currently enrolled at an accredited 4-year university or college.

Other Qualifications

• Students with a concentration in Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, HR, Engineering, or similar are highly desired
• Possesses a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Ability to handle sensitive/confidential information

• Possesses good organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to work effectively with people at all levels and be safety conscious at all times
• Ability to establish goals, set priorities and meet deadlines
