The Tow Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our towing services. This role involves managing a team of tow truck drivers, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery, and maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Supervise, train, and support a team of tow truck drivers. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback. Track driver hours for payroll.
- Operations Oversight: Coordinate and monitor towing operations to ensure timely response to service requests. Optimize routes and schedules for efficiency.
- Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Conduct regular safety training and inspections.
- Fleet Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of tow trucks and equipment. Ensure all vehicles are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on operational performance, including key metrics such as response times, customer satisfaction, and safety incidents.
- Budget Management: Manage the operational budget, including expenses related to vehicle maintenance, fuel, and staffing.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the towing or transportation industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in using dispatch and fleet management software.
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred.
- Strong problem solving skills/quick thinking.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
