DTG Recycle’s Sorter is a great entry level position at our sites!
Duties/Responsibilities:- Work on a conveyor belt system to sort materials efficiently.
- Identify each material and ensure it is directed to the correct area for further processing.
- Assist coworkers with heavy items.
- Maintains a safe work environment.
- Follows all standard safety procedures while always wearing required PPE.
- Perform general labor duties as assigned.
- Ability to communicate verbally with team members and supervisors.
- Be able to stand, bend, walk, and sit for up to 10 hours a day. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Have access to reliable transportation.
- Produce work with quick turnaround times.
- Must be willing to work overtime as needed.
- Ability to use small hand tools (i.e., box cutters and wire cutters.)
- Exposure to year-round weather.
