Founded in 1999, DTG Recycle is the largest recycler of commercial, industrial, construction, and demolition materials in the Pacific Northwest.
The Government Contracts Specialist will have knowledge of government contract processes, understanding of request for proposal (RFP) bidding and procurement process, compliance within the recycling and solid waste industries in WA. This role is responsible for managing and securing government contracts, monitoring and responding to upcoming RFP's, ensuring all documentation and relevant reporting is accurate, and maintaining relationships with government agencies and contracted services clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage Bids & Proposals : Identify government contract opportunities, prepare competitive bids, and submit accurate proposals for recycling and waste services.
- Contract Compliance : Ensure adherence to government regulations, contract terms, and execution of services agreed upon.
- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain records of contracts, bids, and performance and any required reporting, ensuring timely submissions and accuracy.
- Relationship Management : Build and sustain strong relationships with local, state, and federal agencies, as well as other institutions we service.
- Risk Mitigation : Identify potential risks in contracts and develop strategies ensuring profitability and regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as assigned .
