Title : Heavy Equipment Operator

Duties / Responsibilities :
- Performs inspections at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Operating front end loader and / or excavator safely and proficiently.
- Performing light maintenance on equipment.
- Sizing large steel and concrete for further processing in our recycling operations.
- Visually screen construction and demolition debris for unacceptable materials.
- Identify unacceptable material on incoming loads.
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with truck drivers on where to offload incoming material.
- Direct inbound loads to the tipping floor.
- Assist co-workers with heavy items.
- Maintain safety and cleanliness of the facility and general housekeeping.
- Availability to work occasional Saturdays.
- Other job duties will be added as needed.
