WHAT WE DO :
We focus on providing delivery, staffing, and supported services such as enterprise integration / implementations including, but not limited to, CRM, EAM, ERP, PMO, and QA. We service clients in SLED (state / local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.
DTI has an immediate need for a Sr NOC (Network Operations Center) Consultant for a 6month contract in Newark, NJ.
Consultant must work on our W2
Consultant must be available to work all three shifts onsite
Duration : 6 Months
Contractor Job Description - NOC
Location : Newark, NJ
Requisites :
- Education : Completed higher education or studying in technology areas.
- Experience in Help Desk / Service Desk / Call-Center with supervisory / managerial, cient facing experience
- Knowledge in monitoring; (SolarWinds, Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of networks.
- Basic knowledge of IT support.
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, GLPI, etc.)
- Familiarity with operating systems, Office Package and E-mails.
- Familiarity with virtual desktop VDI infrastructure.
- Familiarity with working on a VPN.
- Familiarity with answering calls (AWS connect), using call answering protocol.
- Experience with recording and categorizing calls and diagnosing problems and incidents.
- Experience in documentation and ITIL processes.
- Good written and verbal communication.
- Familiarity with escalation processes, internal, external and service providers.
- A heightened sense of urgency.
- Familiarity with following daily work processes and routines with responsibility and organization.
Shift Roster
1st shift : 07 : 00 – 15 : 00
2nd shift : 14 : 30 – 22 : 30
3rd shift : 21 : 30 – 07 : 30
Pay rate : $27-$32hr depending on experience
