Auto Parts Sales Associate

Job Overview
DTL's headquarter is located in the State Capital of California, and we are opening our warehouse in Greensboro, North Carolina soon. We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while promoting our products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Achieve growth and increase sales by successfully maintaining and developing commercial sales. Develop new accounts through face to face and telephone contact with potential customers
• Act as a consultative partner to commercial customers by maintaining expert knowledge on automotive parts and industry; Conduct research to guarantee the customer is offered the ‘right part for the right price’
• Maintain records and billing for commercial accounts; processes returns and reconciles accounts
• Visits commercial accounts and ensures accounts are serviced and deliveries are made as promised.
• Build and maintain strong relationship with management team.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos.
• Upsell products by highlighting their benefits and features to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Maintain stock levels by organizing and restocking merchandise as needed.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding inventory levels and customer feedback.
• Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries over the phone.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• Previous experience in a Auto Parts store or retail environment is preferred but not required.
• Basic knowledge of automotive parts is required
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management.
• Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise
