Position : Rad Tech

Facility Type : Hospital

Start Date : 2 / 17

Contract Length : 13 weeks to 6 months

Shift / Schedule : It is 8 hour days, Monday – Friday.(hour are flexible, hours of operation are 7 AM – 5 : 30 PM) Required to take call (Hours of 5 : 30 PM – 7 AM)a minimum of 1 night per week, and every 3rdor 4thweekend. (Weekend starts at 5 : 30 PM on Friday and runs through 7 AM on Monday).

Additional Details :

Compliance Required : BLS, AART, R, CT, ND License required with 2 years of experience

40 contract hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-rays, CT scans, and PET scans while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Ensure accurate patient positioning and equipment calibration for optimal image quality.
  • Maintain a sterile environment and utilize aseptic techniques during procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care.
  • Stay current with ARRT and BLS certification requirements, and uphold medical terminology and anatomy knowledge in daily tasks.
