Schedule: Monday through Friday
Start time 4:00pm - 6 hour shift
Start time 5:00pm - 4 hour shift
Responsibilities:
- Perform general and deep cleaning duties in a highly secured municipal building
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, holding cells, public areas, private offices, kitchen areas and break rooms, high touch surfaces
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
- Clean windows and glass surfaces
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Experience:
- 2 Years of previous experience in commercial cleaning required
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
Candidates will be sent to Royal Oak Police Dept to participate in a full background check, including fingerprinting, prior to offer of employment. Candidate must not have history of, or current issues with, felonies, misdemeanors, open warrants (including traffic) ROPD/City of Royal Oak has final determination of job placement.
