About the Role – Dual-Property Group Sales Manager
The Group Sales Manager is responsible for driving group sales and revenue for both the Residence Inn by Marriott and Hampton Inn by Hilton Coconut Creek. This role requires a proactive approach to soliciting and handling group opportunities, developing strong customer relationships, and maximizing revenue potential for both properties. The ideal candidate will be a results-driven sales professional with a deep understanding of the local market and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive group sales and revenue for both properties through proactive solicitation and relationship building.
- Work collaboratively with hotel teams, Marriott and Hilton sales networks, and local convention bureaus to secure group business.
- Develop and execute an effective sales strategy to target key accounts, market segments, and new business opportunities.
- Conduct site visits, sales calls, and networking events to generate business and maintain strong client relationships.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts to ensure optimal revenue and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and economic factors to strategically position both properties.
- Ensure smooth turnover of group business to the operations team for seamless event execution and guest service.
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets as determined by the Director of Sales and Management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in hotel group sales, preferably within Marriott or Hilton brands.
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Ability to think strategically and creatively to develop sales initiatives.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to balance the needs of both properties.
- Experience using hotel sales systems such as Cvent, Delphi, or other CRM platforms.
- Flexibility to travel for sales meetings, trade shows, and client engagements as needed.
