Defined Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to support our project management team in overseeing property renovations and turnovers. This individual will assist in inspecting homes at move-out, coordinating projects, and ensuring quality renovations that maximize property profitability. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn and grow within the real estate and property management industry.

We seek a self-motivated individual with a strong background in property inspection and project management. This executive will be responsible for overseeing home inspections at the time of move-out and managing properties through the entire project management life cycle, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Accountability
- Perform property inspections including Move-In’s, Move-Out’s, Periodic, Takeover, etc.
- Assist the Property Management team with handling emergencies and/or large maintenance work orders.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various departments, including maintenance, sales, property management, and finance.
- Facilitate effective communication and sharing information across teams to ensure alignment and synergy.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress, address challenges, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including property owners, investors, contractors, and vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
Monthly Reporting and Stakeholder Management
- Maintain accountability for project deliverables, ensuring all tasks are completed to the highest standards.
- Prepare and present detailed project reports, including progress updates, financial performance, and key metrics.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including property owners, investors, contractors, and vendors.
- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns promptly.
Business Plan Execution
- Support all aspects of project management, from initial planning to final execution and delivery.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure quality standards are met.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Allocate and manage resources effectively, including personnel, materials, and budget.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources to achieve project goals efficiently.
- Proactively identify and resolve project-related issues and challenges.
- Make informed decisions based on data analysis, stakeholder input, and industry knowledge.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree is strongly preferred
Qualifications:
- Must have 3 years experience in construction and project coordination .
- Ability to handle multiple tasks/jobs at a time.
- Strong organizational skills, excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Bi-lingual speaking skills a plus, not required
- Positive, adaptable attitude, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Highly motivated, strategic thinker with strong quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with industry-standard software (e.g., AppFolio).
- Integrity and a commitment to excellence, with a strong reputation in the industry.
- Ability to work independently and within teams in a dynamic environment.
