JOB TITLE: Paralegal

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Paralegal to assist in the Real Estate Practice. The ideal candidate will be a recent liberal arts graduate with strong written and verbal skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced collaborative work environment. We are seeking candidates who will be trained to edit and manage real estate documents and perform other billable work in support of real estate attorneys.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare, organize, and file documents and correspondence
- Conduct legal research.
- Organize relevant documents for attorney review and case preparation;
- Perform administrative duties (calendar meetings and deadlines, organize files, manage logistics, etc.)
- Accurately and consistently track and record all related billable and non-billable time;
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong research skills
- Excellent written and communication and time management skills
- Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree

PAY TYPE : Hourly
ANNUAL PAY RANGE: $50,000-$65,000
Please Note: The hourly and/or annual salary amount is based on a *good faith* compensation analysis in pursuant of New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL) listed under *Senate Bill 9457*. Final starting salary/wage is dependent on the candidate’s experience level, industry expertise, skills and other factors that are defined in the job description.
