Requirements / Qualifications
Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, assists in the planning, organization, and coordination of the District's accounting, budgeting, fiscal planning, financial reporting, payroll operations, and development and administration of the District budget; directs and supervises assigned personnel in the performance of ongoing budget functions; conducts complex financial analyses and prepares financial reports; has full responsibility in the absence of the director; performs related duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, financial management, business administration or a closely related field supplemented by courses in technology and systems.
At least three years of financial planning / administration experience, preferably in a public agency, requiring the preparation and analysis of financial plans and budgets; and supervision of accounting staff. Such experience should be in an organization with an annual General Fund budget of at least $30 Million. School district experience with multiple funds is highly desirable.
