Dubak Electrical Group is seeking an experienced Construction Project Coordinator to perform administrative, project related duties, and daily responsibilities for the Project Managers at our La Grange Park, IL. corporate office.
This position requires great attention to detail and organization of many ongoing tasks to be performed simultaneously. This individual will coordinate the field activities within our service division. The Project Coordinator will be required to maintain strong working relationships with our team, customers, and vendors.
Standard Working Hours: 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday
Primary Job Function: This is a full-time office position that requires building strong relationships with our customers while balancing schedules, ordering equipment and materials, and invoicing accurately.
Responsibilities:
· Building and maintaining strong working relationships with our team, customers, and vendors
- Participation in weekly internal meetings
- Ensuring all customer needs are being met efficiently and timely
- Accurate generation of Notice of Awards submissions and appropriate documentation for approved jobs
- Working with vendors to order and schedule equipment, parts, and materials required for each job
- Providing accurate proposals/estimates for repairs, service, or new jobs to customers
- Administrative duties, including accurate invoicing
- Coordination of field activities and balancing schedules
- Maintaining professionalism with your words and actions
- Ability to multi-task and follow through on customer commitments
- Other duties may be assigned
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:
- 2 years of administrative/coordinating project experience is preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge and understanding of the construction industry
- Must work well under pressure and have a sense of urgency to meet deadlines consistently
- Excellent communication skills are needed, both verbally and written
- Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently as well as with a team
- Strong math aptitude is helpful when compiling accurate proposals, ordering equipment/materials, and invoicing timely
Education:
- Undergraduate degree preferred
