Dubin Research & Consulting, a trial consulting firm, seeks a strategic and driven Director of Client Relations and Business Development to join our team and play a pivotal role in our continued growth. The ideal candidate will lead the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive new business opportunities, identify and strengthen client relationships, and enhance the firm's market presence.
This role requires exceptional communication skills, a proactive sales mindset, and a deep understanding of the litigation landscape.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Craft and implement a strategic business development plan to increase brand visibility.
- Develop and execute outreach efforts, including speaking engagements, networking events, and industry partnerships.
- Maintain and optimize the CRM database and proposal process, tracking client interactions and pipeline development.
- Enhance proposal templates and coordinate the drafting and circulation of proposals.
- Draft client engagement documents.
- Track proposals and client engagement documents and suggest follow-up communications.
- Oversee marketing efforts, including website redesign, email campaigns, press releases, and advertising.
- Work with legal, research, and graphics teams to draft newsletters.
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the legal sector, focusing on developing relationships with general counsel and managing partners at leading law firms, legal insurance carriers, and other key decision-makers through strategic networking and targeted outreach.
- Work closely with our teams to develop pitch materials and compelling case studies, showcasing our firm's expertise and effectively communicating our value proposition to prospective clients.
Qualifications & Experience
- This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be in the office four days a week. Applicants must be located in the New York Metropolitan Area
- J.D. degree preferred but not required.
- 6-10 years of experience in business development, client growth, or sales within a law firm, legal services, or litigation consulting firm.
- Strong background in building and managing client relationships with top-tier law firms, in-house counsel, and other key decision-makers of legal services.

Compensation: $250,000 - $375,000 base pay. Bonus and Incentives will be discussed.
The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by experience and does not include overtime compensation. DRC provides compensation for overtime in alignment with state regulations.
