As we continue to expand, we are seeking a skilled Research Analyst, Community Attitude Surveys, to join our team.
Position Overview
The Research Analyst, Community Attitude Surveys, will be responsible for designing, executing, and analyzing survey-based research projects. This role requires expertise in writing survey questions, programming surveys in Qualtrics, conducting statistical analyses, and translating findings into actionable insights for legal teams. The ideal candidate will have experience with statistical software, preferably R, and a strong ability to communicate research findings effectively through written reports and presentations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program surveys in Qualtrics, ensuring methodologically sound question design.
- Conduct statistical analyses of survey data to identify trends and insights.
- Utilize R (preferred) or other statistical tools to analyze large data sets.
- Write executive summaries and research reports that clearly present findings and implications.
- Create visually compelling PowerPoint presentations to communicate results to internal teams and clients.
- Conduct venue and media research to support survey design and analysis.
- Assist in project management, ensuring deadlines are met and research quality is maintained.
- Responsibilities are representative and not exhaustive; additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, political science, statistics, sociology) or a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with survey research design, including question writing and sampling methodologies.
- Proficiency in Qualtrics or similar survey platforms.
- Strong statistical analysis skills with experience in R (preferred) or similar software.
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.

The indicated salary range for this position reflects the base pay, which is determined by experience. DRC provides compensation for overtime in alignment with state regulations.
