GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision and guidance of the Dublin High School Learning Center Coordinator(s), tutors individuals and small groups of high school students in core academic subjects, including English, Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and World Languages to promote conceptual understanding and mastery of content; assists with assigned classwork and homework, reteaches academic material, edits drafts, and prepares students for tests and quizzes; assists students in developing effective study habits and test-taking skills. Dublin, a suburban city in Alameda County’s East Bay and Tri-Valley regions, has a population of about 73,000 and sits at the I-580/680 intersection. Dublin Unified School District (DUSD) serves nearly 13,000 students from preschool to adult education across a diverse community.
