PURPOSE STATEMENT
The job of Special Education Instructional Assistant III is done for the purpose/s of providing support to the instructional assigned self-contained classroom comprised of students with significant cognitive delays, physical, al program within emotional, educational, or behavioral needs, or in a general education classroom that includes students with these needs; acting as a learning resource; assisting in supervision,
care, and instruction, assisting in implementing plans for instruction; monitoring student behavior during non-classroom time; and providing information to appropriate school personnel. This job reports to the Assigned Supervisor. Dublin, a suburban city in Alameda County’s East Bay and Tri-Valley regions, has a population of about 73,000 and sits at the I-580/680 intersection.
