Assistant Manager

Payless Building Supply - Door and Millwork Store, a growing and dynamic Employee-Owned company, has a unique opening for an Assistant Manager at our Oroville Location. As an Assistant Manager your responsibility is to oversee the day to day operation functions, and developing methods to obtain maximum efficiency, while effectively managing overhead. We are looking for a strong leader with proven experience.

The primary duties of the Assistant Manager will be:

• Making safety a number one priority
• Supervising all operation functions assuring the use of approved company procedures
• Assessing the needs of the operation in terms of labor, inventory, and equipment
• Creating marketing strategies to increase retail sales
• Scheduling and maintaining time and attendance
• Reviewing housekeeping
• Maintenance and security needs of the facility
• Assisting the General Manager with supervision over inventory control, stocking shipping, sales and advertising

Minimum expected duties include:

• Working with sales and shop staff to maintain door production schedule and deliveries

• Process receiving paperwork

• Miantaining employee's work schedules and processing time and attendance

• Addressing customer concerns and needs

• Support General Manager in keeping operations running smoothly

Full-Time. 40 hours per week

$28.50 - 33.50/Hour DOE
