Duck Creek Animal Hospital is excited to announce that we are looking for a confident, compassionate, and experienced full-time veterinarian to join our Team. Are you ready to love where you work? After opening our doors 6 years ago we have experienced steady growth and are now looking to expand. Located in Smyrna, Delaware, (tax Free) the surrounding area is suburban and rapidly developing while maintaining a small-town feel. Clientele are friendly and engaged and we pride ourselves with being strongly connected to the local community. (Smyrna is one hour from Atlantic beaches and one hour from Chesapeake Bay). There are many opportunities for outdoor recreation available. We are also close to major metro areas including Washington D.C., Baltimore, and Philadelphia
Our office is modern and well equipped with on-site digital dental radiology, ultrasound, surgical suite comprehensive diagnostic in house laboratory equipment, class IV therapy laser, multi model anesthetic monitoring and electronic medical records. If you are looking to establish a long-term relationship with your patients and their people then our practice is the perfect fit.
We emphasize examining and evaluating the whole pet to make comprehensive recommendations for their care and well-being. Our role is to teach pet owners how to keep their pets happy and healthy for as long as possible. We strive to be the Advocates for our patients. Excellent clinical and communication skills help us accomplish this.
This position is full-time: three twelve-hour shifts( negotiable), every third Saturday six-hour shift with no after-hours emergencies. We strive for a good work/life balance. For the best care of our patients, we try not to keep them over-night or over weekends. We have two Emergency clinics in our area and two Referral centers 30-60 minutes away.
Compensation is salary. Benefits include: medical, vision, and malpractice insurance, AFLAC, paid time off, CE allowance, uniform allowance, professional dues, Potential for future buy-in.
