What You’ll Do
Junior Staff Accountants assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic work environment supporting a global company.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Provide project accounting support including revenue recognition and profitability analyses.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice processing, collections and payment tracking.
- Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are recorded and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
- Provide support during external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Collaborate with and support operational team members and other finance team members on various projects and initiatives.
- Perform other accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 0-2 years of accounting experience (internships included).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Familiarity with NetSuite, Concur and SuiteProjects Pro (formerly OpenAir) is a plus but not required.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
